The Pumpkin Patch

Have you ever planned a *fabulous* day and then had that plan go down the drain because you didn’t check to see if where you were going was open?

So it’s not just me then?

Because of Honey’s travel schedule we planned to take Baby Parker to his *first* pumpkin patch at the end of September. Honey wanted to be a part of Parker’s first pumpkin patch experience and we wanted to get some pictures of our little family. Well we drove to a town just south of us to a fabulous pumpkin patch only to find… whomp whomp… they were scheduled to open the *following* weekend.

Whoopsie!

They were super nice though and still let us in just to snap a few pictures with the pumpkins they were starting to set out.

Fortunately Honey’s schedule changed around a bit (if you’re a regular follower you might be noticing a theme here with change and the army, ahem) and we were able to go back in October when they were *actually* open.

Our little pumpkin had a great time checking out the pumpkins and picking out the *perfect* pumpkin for us to carve. Of course Honey helped him pick one that was just right. And mommy enjoyed picking out some pumpkins for decorating the front porch!

Happy Fall Y'all!
