Kansas by Way of Atlanta

Once we were completely moved out of our home in Tennessee, our little family had some time before we made the long drive out to Kansas. We were excited to use this time with each of our families so we spent about a week with each. First we visited my family in Roswell, Georgia - just outside of Atlanta.

We had such a great time together! We went to an Atlanta Braves Baseball game, out to eat at some of our favorite places, stopped in some of our favorite shops, spent a lovely day at Barnsley Gardens and attended a small "going-away party" my parents threw for us to say goodbye to good friends.

In effort to not make this post too long I separated the baseball game pictures. I'll post the baseball pictures tomorrow!

Here's a sneak preview of our little cutie at his first game!

Parker got to visit with my 92-year-old grandmother:

Cash was so happy to have plenty of options for a good nap!

We attended church with my parents at the church I grew up going to:

I loved seeing my favorite people at our farewell party!

Here is one of my high school besties and her baby Sammie:

These two are equal in weight but 5 months apart!

My high school BFF and one of her littles:

Honey and I took advantage of free babysitting to go out on D A T E  N I G H T ! !

We all enjoyed our day at Barnsley Garden's so very much!

Parker and Twinkle at lunch:

Game of pool anyone?

We ate at this beautiful restaurant overlooking the golf course for lunch:

A few of the cottages:

Exploring the beautiful ruins on the property. So much history here!

Parker Bear with Twinkle and Bing:

Finally a picture of all of us together!

Later that night and much closer to home we tried out a fabulous new restaurant!

It was such a great visit! Just writing this is already making me homesick! We know we will see Twinkle and Bing again soon when they come visit us in Kansas!
